Police would like businesses suspecting a bill to be counterfeit to call the authorities as soon as a bill is thought to be fake.

Police would also like the vehicle licence plate number of the person passing the bill and descriptions of the individual or persons involved. It would also help police if the bill was placed in an envelope and not touched.

Information on how to determine if a bill is counterfeit can be obtained by contacting the local OPP detachment at 705-564-6900.
