Positive parenting seminars to be offered by Rainbow Schools

Rainbow Schools will host a series of seminars that are part off the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P). The three-part series will focus on the “power of positive parenting; raising confident, competent children and raising resilient children.

The three-part series will focus on the “power of positive parenting; raising confident, competent children and raising resilient children.”

“Triple P is a world-renowned program that fosters positive, caring relationships between parents and children,” Norm Blaseg, Rainbow District School Board director of education, stated in a press release. “All parents (and) guardians will benefits from these informative seminars and all are welcome to attend.”

Childcare will be available at each of the free seminars.

10 a.m. — noon
Mondays — Feb. 28, March 7 and March 21

Lansdowne Public School
6 p.m. — 8 p.m.
Mondays – March 21, March 28 and April 4

Ernie Checkeris Public School
6 p.m. — 8 p.m.
Thursdays — March 31, April 7 and April 14

MacLeod Public School
6 p.m. — 8 p.m.
Thursdays – April 7, April 14 and April 21

C.R. Judd Public School
10 a.m. — 12 p.m.
Thursdays – May 19, May 26 and June 1

Levack Public School
6 p.m. — 8 p.m.
Wednesdays – September 28, October 5 and October 12
