Possible discoloured water in Garson

Residents in Garson may experience discoloured water and/or low water pressure due to upgrades to municipal groundwater wells on Jan. 6, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

During the construction, two of three Garson wells will be shut down.

Residents are asked to check water for clarity before starting laundry or dishwashers. If the water contains dirt or is cloudy, the city advises running cold tap water, preferably the tap closest to a downstairs water meter, until it runs clear.
