Update: Blown fuse causes power outage in South End

Sudbury Hydro crews are responding to a power outage in the South End.

A blown fuse has knocked out power to a number of Sudbury Hydro customers in the South End. One phase is out.

"We will be re-energizing shortly so any 3-phase customers should open equipment breakers for protection," said a tweet from Sudbury Hydro.

Sudbury Hydro crews are responding to a power outage in the South End.

Customers from the Webbwood Drive and Lorne Street intersection to Kelly Lake Road at Copper Street are affected by this outage.

The cause of the outage is unknown at this time and there is not estimated time of restoration.
