The Duchess of Cambridge (a.k.a. Princess Kate) delivered a baby boy this morning at 11:01 a.m. U.K. time.

A press release from Kensington Palace said the baby weighs eight pounds, seven ounces.

Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.

"The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news," the press release goes on to say. "Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well."

The little boy, who's fifth in line of succession to the throne, already has a couple of siblings — Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2.
