Pro wrestling action returns to Greater Sudbury this weekend as Project X Wrestling takes over the Cambrian College gym on April 20.

The promotion has teamed up with NostalgiaCon Sudbury for this one, too, and not only that, but Project X is hosting its first ever casket match on Saturday.

“We are very happy to be working with NostalgiaCon Sudbury this year and will be having a NostalgiaCon-themed wrestling show for this event,” Project X told Sudbury.com. “The Project X Heavyweight Champion Magnum McLaren, who is from Sudbury, will be facing Montreal's Genesis. This will be a match you don't want to miss.”

Also on the card for Saturday, TNA Wrestling Superstar Aiden Prince from Windsor will step into the ring with Ottawa's Mathis Myre in what expected to be a very entertaining match.

Sudbury's own Nova is returning to the ring and has issued an Open Challenge — who will she face?

Working the mic for this one as emcee is Sudbury MPP Jamie West.

“There are many more matches to be announced,” Project X said. “Stay tuned to Project X Wrestling on social media for all announcements.”

Wrestling tickets can be purchased online at ProjectXTix.com as well as Eventbrite or by telephone 249-360-6057. Tickets for Sunday's Nostalgiacon can be purchased on Eventbrite.
