Public Health Sudbury & Districts is reporting a COVID-19 related death in Greater Sudbury.
This is the region’s 29th death associated with the pandemic and the first death since May 2.
The health unit offered its condolences to the family, friends and caregivers of the person who passed away, and, as has become standard practice with these announcements, stated no further details would be provided out of respect for the family.
This death will be included in Public Health’s daily update of COVID-19 case data at 4 p.m. today. A total of 29 deaths have now been reported across the service area since the beginning of the pandemic.
