The City of Greater Sudbury is required to put together an Annual Accessibility Plan to create more opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in city activities.

The meeting will assist the Accessibility Advisory Committee in preparing its annual plan by identifying, removing and preventing barriers. The committee will also listen to feedback on municipal services for people with disabilities.

The meeting will take place in Committee Room C-11. Committee members Claude Berthiaume, Joscelyne Landry-Altmann, Earl Black, Linda Whiteside, Bob Bannister, Peter Clark, Steven Daniel, Norma Fitzgerald and Dianne Loyer will be present.

A copy of the 2009-2010 plan is available online at www.greatersudbury.ca. For more information about the Accessibility Advisory Committee is available by phoning the city at 311.
