The City of Greater Sudbury advises residents that a construction project has commenced at the outlet of Ramsey Lake to replace the stop-log structure that controls water flow into Lily Creek and to fix the concrete around the stop-log control mechanism.

Pedestrian traffic on the Ramsey Lake boardwalk will be re-routed around the construction site for the duration of the project, which is scheduled for completion by mid-November. There will be no barrier-free access through this area until construction is completed.


There may also be occasional disruptions to traffic on Paris Street during the course of the project. Further updates on the construction schedule will be issued as available.
