City council has suspended the winter overnight parking bylaw to allow people to park on the street and in municipal parking lots overnight on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
The city is asking residents to "be mindful of any snow removal requirements on these nights."
The bylaw has been amended to allow parking from 12:01 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Dec. 25, Dec. 26 and Jan. 1 of each year.
