Road work, repairs and filmining for an upcoming movie will impact the flow of traffic in the city over the next few days.

Centennial Dr. at Ramsey View Ct., Sudbury: A water main break has been repaired and all lanes are open to traffic. Paving of the excavated site is scheduled for Nov. 14, depending on favorable weather conditions.

Boland Ave., Sudbury: Westbound lane closure for approximately 100 metres west of Paris Street, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Nov. 10, for water main work.

Paris St. at York St., Sudbury: Northbound curb lane closure from 7 p.m. on Nov. 10 to 6 a.m. on Nov. 11 for work related to underground infrastructure.

Third Ave., Sudbury: A sanitary sewer upgrade on Eaglestone Court will close one lane on Third Avenue in Minnow Lake on Nov. 14.

Elm St., Frood Rd. to Pine St., Sudbury: Repairs to the CP Railway crossing will close Elm Street to through traffic, starting at 8 p.m. on Nov. 11 until 6 a.m. on Nov. 14. Local traffic and pedestrians will have access to businesses and apartments on either side of the railway crossing. For safety reasons, the crossing itself will be closed to both pedestrians and vehicles. Motorists must detour via Frood Road and Pine Street. Construction will be continuous until complete.

Elm St., Elgin St. to Lisgar St., Sudbury: Filming for “The Truth” will result in lane closures in downtown Sudbury from Nov. 11 until Nov. 13. Filming will involve action sequences, including special effects and stunt crews simulating gunfire, shattered car windows and a “sniper” on the roof of a five-storey building at the corner of Elm and Durham Streets. Residents may hear the sound of gunfire on Elm Street during filming on Saturday and Sunday.

Nov. 11 from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Eastbound lanes on Elm Street will close from Elgin to Lisgar Street. Durham Street will close at Cedar. Westbound lanes on Elm will remain open. Detour via Lisgar Street.

Nov. 12, from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Intermittent eastbound lane closures on Elm Street, from Durham Street to Lisgar. Durham Street will reopen to northbound traffic. The outdoor public parking lot off Durham Street will close for filming.

Nov. 13, from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Eastbound lanes on Elm Street will close from Durham Street to Lisgar. Durham Street will remain open for northbound traffic.

The Elm Street sidewalk adjacent to eastbound lanes will close to pedestrians during filming. The sidewalk adjacent to westbound lanes, providing access to the Rainbow Centre, will remain open.
