Santa Shuffle returns Dec. 6

The fleet of foot are lacing up for the 24th annual Santa Shuffle.

The 2014 Santa Shuffle is set for Saturday, Dec. 6 at Science North. There will be a five-kilometre fun run for people of all ages, as well as a one-kilometre Elf Walk, meant just for kids.

All proceeds raised through the Santa Shuffle will be shared equally between three Salvation Army program: Cedar Place Women and Families Shelter, The New Life Centre and Community Family Services.

Last year's race raised $22,000.

The Elf Walk takes place at 10 a.m., while the fun run kicks off at 10:15 a.m.
