Santala Road in Lively is closed to the public due to a washout in the area, stated a City of Greater Sudbury news release.
It will be closed between Old Soo Road and Niemi Road. Flooding from the nearby creek washed out the roadway and damaged a culvert.
The road will remain closed until the flood damage is assessed and repaired. The city will provide an update to the public in the future on the duration of the road closure.
Residents in the area are advised to find alternate routes in the interim.
