Here's a pleasant little mid-week surprise for you. Gas prices in Greater Sudbury have dropped dramatically to 107.6 at most gas stations, according to GasBuddy.com.

Yesterday morning, most local gas stations were charging 113.6.

The cheapest gas in the city is 107.3 at Pioneer on The Kingsway and the Superstore station on Lasalle. The most expensive gas in the city is 119.3 at Petro-Canada in Hanmer.

In nearby Sturgeon Falls, gas ranges in price from 107.9 to 108.3 – meaning gas is actually cheaper in Greater Sudbury right now.

The average price of gas in Ontario today is 108.6. The cheapest gas in the province is 93.9 in Ancaster. The most expensive Ontario gas listed on GasBuddy.com today is 129.9 in Smooth Rock Falls.
