Officials with Churchill Public School say that due to weather conditions, the school's Hike for Hospice event will now take place indoors in the school gym.

Greater Sudbury Police are advising the public of traffic disruptions in the New Sudbury area today due to Churchhill Public School's Hike for Hospice event.
Expect traffic disruptions between 11 a.m. and noon in the area of Lasalle Boulevard and Auger Avenue.
The walk will start at the intersection of Fielding Street and Auger Avenue and continue to the Royal Bank of Canada located at 1720 Lasalle Blvd.
The expected route for this walk will head up Auger Avenue occupying the northbound lane of the roadway towards Lasalle Boulevard.
Officers will temporarily stop traffic at the intersection of Lasalle and Auger while participants cross the street. Once all participants are safely across the street into the Royal Bank of Canada parking lot, Officers will open the intersection to traffic.
After a temporary pause at the Royal Bank of Canada, the participants will return to Churchill Public School and Officers will again close the intersection at Lasalle and Auger for participants to safely cross southbound.
Once all participants are safely across, Officers will reopen the intersection. The participants will then occupy the southbound lane of Auger until they reach their destination at Churchill Public School.
There may be traffic delays. The public is being encouraged to be patient when travelling on Lasalle Boulevard and to be respectful to all pedestrians.
