Shriners launch Christmas cake campaign

The Sudbury Shrine Club kicked off its 2015 Christmas cake campaign at Tom Davies Square on Nov. 18.

Mayor Brian Bigger urged Sudburians to support the campaign and the Shriners' philanthropy — the international network of Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Sudbury Shriners in their distinctive fezzes, as a long-standing tradition have been selling their famous Christmas Cakes with the help of many volunteers and assistance from the generous Sudbury community and retail sector.

This year’s campaign will include sales at the New Sudbury Centre, Superstore, Walmart South End, Health Sciences North and Place Bonaventure Mall.
