Skating path opens Feb. 2

The City of Greater Sudbury is advising residents that the Ramsey Lake skating path will open Friday, Feb. 2. The path is approximately 1.5 km long, extending from the Sudbury Canoe Club at the corner of Elizabeth St. and McNaughton Ter.

The path is approximately 1.5 km long, extending from the Sudbury Canoe Club at the corner of Elizabeth St. and McNaughton Ter. to Science North. Heated change facilities are located at both ends of the path.

The Ramsey Lake skate patrol will be on duty Mondays to Fridays from 4 pm to 8 pm, Saturdays from noon to 9 pm and Sundays from noon to 6 pm.

The skating path will remain open until mid-March, weather permitting. For more information, phone the city at 671-CITY.
