A number of festive events planned at Rainbow District School Board schools for today and tonight (Dec. 9) have been cancelled or re-scheduled because of the snowstorm.
These events include:
- Algonquin Road Public School Christmas Concerts - re-scheduled to Dec. 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. to 2 p.m.
- Chelmsford Public School third annual Christmas Family sing-a-long, which was to take place this evening at 6:30 p.m., has been cancelled.
- Lockerby Composite School Christmas Concert, which was to take place this evening at 7 p.m., has been cancelled.
- Long Lake Public School Christmas Tea - re-scheduled to Dec. 10 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Northeastern Elementary School Christmas Concert - re-scheduled to Dec. 11 at 11 a.m.
- Webbwood Public School Christmas Concert- re-scheduled to Dec. 10 at 1:30 p.m.
- Westmount Public School “Noel autour du monde” performance - re-scheduled to Dec. 14 from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m.
