December's early bird draw winner has been announced for the popular 50/50 draw held each month by the St. Joseph’s Foundation in Sudbury.

The happy winner was Carson Berens-Frattini who was awarded $500 for supporting the foundation, which benefits St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre of Sudbury (SJCCC).

A news release from SJCCC said Berens-Frattini is a former valued member of the team at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre. St. Joseph's extended a note of gratitude to Berens-Frattini for his support. There is still time to buy tickets for the December monthly draw, which takes place just before midnight on New Year's Eve on Dec. 31.

Every dollar raised will go towards building 36 new rehabilitation hospital beds to provide additional, much-needed bed capacity to our community’s health system, said the SJCCC news release.

SJCCC reminds supporters that the month end draw takes place on Dec. 31. Tickets can be purchased online at stjoessudbury5050.ca
