Step to it: Parkinson SuperWalk hits Delki Dozzi

Walk is the largest Parkinson's fundraiser in Canada

Dozens of Sudburians came out to Delki Dozzi Park on Saturday morning in support of the Parkisnon SuperWalk.

The event is the largest nationwide fundraising event for Parkinson Canada. Approximately 10,000 people from coast-to-coast organize and take part in Parkinson SuperWalk.

Parkinson's disease is a neurodegenerative disease that affects approximately 100,000 Canadians and their 400,000 family members, loved ones and care partners.

Sudbury walkers were treated to some live music, coffee and donuts and the camaraderie of coming together for a worthwhile cause.

Check back with Sudbury.com for the fundraising total for the event.
