Successful YMCA Strong Kids campaign hefts $122K

YMCA of Subury's 2014-15 Strong Kids campaign ended March 26, having surpassed its $122,000 fundraising goal by $24,470.

The campaign raises money to enable underprivileged kids to participate in YMCA programs that aim to offer children and youth a safe, friendly environment where they can be physically, mentally and socially active.

More than $11 million was raised last year thanks to the generosity of 58,000 donors nationwide to help a quarter of a million young Canadians take part in YMCA programs.
