On Saturday Dec. 30, Stack Brewing will celebrate batch number 1,000 with an open house and an open invitation to participate in the brew.

In the last four and a half years, Stack has produced and distributed roughly one-million litres of Sudbury beer throughout the province.

Stack can be found in more than 300 licensed establishments, 200 LCBOs, and 80 grocery stores from Sudbury up to Thunder Bay and back down to Toronto.

"Bring out the family and come visit Stack (1350 Kelly Lake Road) between 12 p.m and 4 p.m. and receive complimentary brewery tours, in-store specials, participate in the brew, have a pint and some cake," said a news release from Stack Brewing.

The schedule is as follows:

  • 12:30 p.m. -1:30 p.m.: Mashing
  • 2 p.m.: Cleaning the mash tun
  • 2:30 p.m.: Boiling/hop additions
  • 4 p.m.: Adding yeast and finishing the brew

This batch also happens to Stack’s fifth year anniversary ale, scheduled to be released in June 2018. Come meet the guys and gals at your local brewery and celebrate this milestone.
