The Sudbury Community Foundation is presently accepting Stage 1 grant applications for 2008.
The deadline for Stage 1 applications is March 1.
This call for grant proposals is open to all registered charities and qualified not-for-profit organizations as defined under the Income Tax Act (such as hospitals, schools, and the municipality) in the Sudbury area, said a news release.
The Foundation holds more than $1.5 million in assests. Since the inception fo its grants program, the Foundation has distributed more than $54,686 in grants to the Sudbury community.
