All of the offices of the Sudbury & District Health Unit will be closed for the holidays Thursday, Dec. 25, Friday, Dec. 26 and Thursday, Jan. 1.
On those date, the health unit will be available to respond to public health emergencies, such as outbreaks, suspected food poisonings, adverse public water supply samples, or other reported health hazards. The health unit maintains a 24-hour message service for public health emergencies at 522-9200.
The health unit’s regular services are available Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding the dates previously listed.

Those with dental emergencies over the holidays, can call the Sudbury & District Dental Society Emergency Information service at 674-5363. Through this service, the public can contact a dentist who is on-call for dental emergencies.
