Sudbury gas prices spike to 109.9

Cheaper gas can still be found at some stations

Prices at many local gas stations spiked yesterday.

Most gas stations in the city are now charging 109.9, according to GasBuddy.com

The cheapest gas in the city is 105.2 at Mac's in Chelmsford, Mac's in Lively and Petro-Canada on Lorne at Dean, although the latter two of those prices were reported yesterday, and could have changed.

In nearby Sturgeon Falls, gas ranges in price from 99.7 to 99.9.

The average price of gas in Ontario today is 102.4. The cheapest gas in the province is 87.9 in Muncey and Moraviantown First Nation. The most expensive Ontario gas listed on GasBuddy.com today is 126.0 in Penetanguishine.
