UPDATE: Gas drops below a dollar at most Sudbury stations

Gas prices are below $1 at most Sudbury gas stations.

According to GasBuddy, the cheapest you can fill up your tank is 98.9 cents per litre at Independent at the Pumps on Lorne Street. Mr. Gas on Bancroft Drive is also at 98.9.

Both Petro Canada stations on Lorne Street are at 99.2 cents per litre, while Shell and Esso stations are at 99.9.

The cheapest gas in the city is 100.9 at Independent at the Pumps on Lorne and at Global in Chelmsford. The most expensive gas in the city is 104.9 at Esso in Azilda.

In nearby Sturgeon Falls, gas ranges in price from 97.7 to 99.9.

The average price of gas in Ontario today is 97.8. The cheapest gas in the province is 83.9 in Muncey. The most expensive Ontario gas listed on GasBuddy.com today is 129.9 in Shabaqua.
