Public Health Sudbury and Districts (PHSD) has set up several vaccination clinics in the next week to provide COVID-19 booster shots to individuals working in long-term care.

This is in line with the directive issued last week by the Ontario Minister of Long Term Care Paul Calandra. The new directive outlines that all LTC staff, students on placement, volunteers, support workers, and caregivers must provide proof of having received a third dose vaccination by March 14. The directive was issued on January 27 and it updates and replaces the previous version December 31, 2021.

In accordance with the change, PHSD is providing several clinics in the local service area. Some clinics are by appointment and some are walk-in clinics.
