The Sudbury Multicultural Folk Arts Association is inviting newcomers to register for their free basic English classes, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 14 and running through June, 2022.
In an effort to help newcomers learn or improve their English, the courses will allow those who are new to Sudbury meet new people in their community.
Happening every Tuesday and Thursday from 7-9 p.m. the classes will be offered online through Zoom and the courses are separated into Beginner 1 and Beginner 2. Those requiring more time with the teacher can begin at 7 p.m., and then the rest of the group at 8 p.m. Conversations will be part of the lessons.
