Sudbury resident wins $100,000

Isaura Stewart of Sudbury is celebrating after winning $100,000 with ENCORE (Aug. 14, Lotto Max draw).  

“Happy wife, happy life and I am very happy,” said Stewart while at the OLG Prize Centre where she picked up her prize money. “I always believed that one day I would win big with Encore.”

Isaura used the ticket-checker at a neighbourhood gas station and thought she saw one hundred dollars. “I missed a few, very important zeros,” she said.

Stewart shared the news with her husband and said, “Even with the win, I’m going to keep on playing Encore.”

Encore can be played in conjunction with most online lottery games for an extra $1. There is an Encore draw every day.

The winning ticket was purchased at J & T Enterprises on Lasalle Boulevard in Sudbury.
