The weekend’s sunny weather comes to an abrupt end with a chance of freezing rain Monday.

Environment Canada predicts a high of 5 C Monday, and an overnight low of 3 C.

The rain is expected to continue Tuesday with a 70 per cent chance of precipitation.

The chance of showers will be lower Wednesday, at 40 per cent, but there is also a chance of flurries as the temperature dips to 0 C overnight.
