Charles Ketchabaw and Lisa Marie DiLiberto are looking for stories about main streets and downtowns.

They've travelled the province, listening to people recall the most interesting tales from their towns with the intention of producing podcasts for various outlets and eventually for creating theatre productions.

Today, Aug. 20, they will be on Durham Street, looking for Sudbury stories from 1 to 3 p.m.

Ketchabaw, the managing director of Tale of a Town said any story “in the living memory of a person,” will do. In exchange for local memories, the Tale of a Town will be giving every story teller ice cream — a fair trade for their story.

“It would be great to (hear from) anyone,” Ketchabaw said.

For those who want to share a story, but can't make it to the actual story-mobile, they can call the Tale of a Town hotline at 1-855-226-8253.
