Thanksgiving Monday municipal services: What you need to know

The city has released its municipal service schedule for the Thanksgiving holiday on Monday, Oct. 8.

Following are the services that will be open/closed on Monday:

• Tom Davies Square will be closed.
• Citizen Service Centres and Libraries will be closed.
• Garbage, recycling and green cart collection are unaffected by this holiday. Landfills are closed. The Recycling Centre will be open.
• Greater Sudbury Transit routes will follow Sunday and Holiday service schedules.
• Greater Sudbury fitness facilities and pools will be closed. 
• The Greater Sudbury Animal Shelter will be closed to the public.

Please note that city social media accounts are not monitored regularly during statutory holidays.
