Health Sciences North Foundation, NEO Kids Foundation, Northern Cancer Foundation, and the HSN Volunteer Association have announced March’s HSN 50/50 take-home jackpot of $475,075 has been won by Matthew Baumann of Thunder Bay.
“I’m so surprised. Just wow!” said Baumann, according to a release from HSN. “I’ve won smaller 50/50s or raffles at events but I can’t believe I get to take home a prize like this.”
“Our portion of the HSN 50/50 proceeds will support transformative care for the present and future needs of Sudburians and residents across Northeastern Ontario,” said Anthony Keating, president and chief development officer of foundations and volunteer groups at HSN, said in the release. “An example of this is the Acute Reactivation Care Centre at HSN, a purpose-built facility to help older adults regain their independence, and transition out of the hospital to be back home with their loved ones. This care centre would not have been possible without the $2.3 million contribution made by the HSN Volunteer Association, which was generated with funds raised from the HSN 50/50.”
The April HSN 50/50 draw is live at www.hsn5050.ca. This month’s draw offers $34,000 in early bird prizes including $10,000 and four days with $1,000, $2,000, and $3,000 prizes, all in the same day.
All prize deadlines are at 11:59 p.m. the day before the draw takes place, i.e., to be included in the April 12 draw, you must have purchased your tickets before 11:59 p.m. on April 11. Tickets purchased before 11:59 p.m. on April 4 are eligible for every draw in April including the grand prize jackpot.
