Senator Murray Sinclair, the First Nations lawyer who served as chairman of the Indian Residential Schools Truth and Reconciliation Commission, was supposed to give a lecture at Laurentian University tonight (Jan. 28).
However, Sinclair's lecture has been cancelled due to the weather and associated flight cancellations, Laurentian University announced on Twitter Monday afternoon.
“We are actively working to reschedule the event,” the tweet said.
