Once again, Toppers Pizza is fundraising for Toronto SickKids. The Sudbury-based chain of pizzerias says the campaign aims to support the many northern children who travel to the hospital for care. Photo by Toppers.
Topper’s Pizza says the number of children travelling from the Sudbury area to the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto — which numbered some 1,056 total visits last year, the chain said in a news release — is ample reason to fundraise on behalf of the hospital.

In an effort to increase funding and awareness across Ontario, Topper’s has joined with SickKids to raise $40,000 this year through online and in-store customer donations.

Last year, Topper’s SickKids fundraiser raised $37,000, which helped fund care, research and education.

Customers can donate in one of three ways: online/phone checkout, in-store donation, or by ordering the Topper’s “Feel Good Meal” that was created just for SickKids. Topper’s donates $2 from every Feel Good Meal sold to SickKids. The meal includes a large four-topping pizza and eight ToppersSticks™.
