Traffic update: Rail crossing repairs at Douglas Street

Lane closures on Paris Street and Brady Street starting Nov. 7

CP Rail will be conducting repairs to the rail crossing on Douglas Street on Nov. 6. One lane of traffic will be maintained with intermittent lane closures to allow for the signal lights from Douglas Street to Lorne Street. Work will be done from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
 
Skead Road, Garson: Road paving operations are now complete on Skead Road. Intermittent lane reductions will continue to allow for driveway tie-ins, line painting and other finishing touches, from Nov. 6 to 11. Work will be done from 7 a.m. to 7. p.m. Flag persons will be directing traffic.
 
Paris Street, Sudbury: Repairs to a storm sewer will close both the northbound and southbound inside lanes and the turning lane on Paris Street, south of Walford Road, on Nov. 7 to 10. One lane will be maintained in each direction. Signs will be posted. The sidewalk in each direction will not be affected.
 
Brady Street, Sudbury: A private contractor will be conducting cable repair in the Bell manhole and will close the westbound curb lane on Brady Street, at Broadway Street, on Nov. 7. Work will be done between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
