Greater Sudbury has been well-represented on the annual CAA Worst Roads list, and this year is no exception.

CAA released its annual list today on its website.

Greater Sudbury didn’t take top spot this year — that honour went to Burlington Street East in Hamilton (which has appeared on the list every year since 2009) — but spots three and four went to the Nickel City.

This year’s list is as follows:

  1. Burlington Street East, Hamilton
  2. Dufferin Street, Toronto
  3. Lorne Street, Sudbury
  4. Maley Drive, Sudbury
  5. Queenston Street, St. Catharines
  6. Algonquin Boulevard West, Timmins
  7. Hunt Club Road, Ottawa
  8. TIE Carling Avenue / Duckworth Street, Ottawa / Barrie
  9. TIE Algonquin Boulevard East / Yonge Street, Timmins / Toronto
  10. County Road 49, Prince Edward County

More regionally, Lorne and Maley were ranked the two worst roads (first and second place, respectively) in Northern Ontario. The northern list is:

  1. Lorne Street, Sudbury
  2. Maley Drive, Sudbury
  3. Algonquin Boulevard West, Timmins
  4. Algonquin Boulevard East, Timmins
  5. Theriault Boulevard, Timmins

Happy driving, Northern Ontario!
