The Ukrainian Seniors’ Centre presents the Ukrainian Garlic Food Fest Sunday, Aug. 28.
Enjoy a variety of garlic nibblers, including pyrohy, balabushky, savoury chicken, home-made sauerkraut with kobassa, meat sticks, baked beans, garlic butter tarts, fudge and ice cream.
Garlic vendors will also be on site, including Big Ass Garlic, Simon DeBoer and Off the Beet’N Path.
The event runs 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 30 Notre Dame Ave.
