United Way Northeast is seeking volunteers to lend a hand in their community volunteer income tax program.

The program will run from the beginning of March to the end of April of next year, and United Way is looking for volunteers to fill the positions of income tax preparer and receptionist.

For income tax preparers, United Way is looking for individuals who have a minimum of three years experience preparing their own income taxes. Individuals must be comfortable filing simple tax returns.

Receptionists should ideally be someone who loves interacting with the general public, and who are organized and reliable.
