Video: How can racial discrimination be eliminated in Sudbury?

Diverse members of the community respond on International day of the cause

Tolerance, inclusion, unity and respect for diversity in the context of combating racial discrimination in Greater Sudbury were the themes at the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination luncheon Wednesday at the Caruso Club.

They were also answers to the question of how Sudbury could become a better place for everyone.

Greater Sudbury Police Services hosts a well-attended luncheon to recognize and honour the day each year.  Chief Paul Pedersen, the keynote speaker said that of this year's four themes, "inclusion" means the most to him.

Hear why, and listen to others respond to the issue of racial discrimination in the city, in our video from the event.
