Video: Muriel Cresc. residents react to bear problems

NorthernLife.ca visited Muriel Crescent this morning to speak with neighbours about the police dispatching a sow and bear cub that broke into a home on the street late yesterday evening.

One neighbor describes how the bear problem has gotten so bad, residents have taken to wandering the neighborhood banging pots and pans and making noise in an attempt to frighten any nearby bears away.

The woman whose house the bears broke into looking for food asked not to be identified, but did describe for NorthernLife.ca what happened on Aug. 11.

Be warned, there is a considerable amount of blood soaked into the ground in the area where the two bears were dispatched that is visible on the video.
