North Bay Environmentalist Yan Roberts slipped through security and stood next to Stephen Harper with a t-shirt stating "Water not Harper" in protest to the potential Energy East Pipeline Project which would be connected across the country locally through Trout Lake by repurposing an old gas pipeline underneath Trout Lake.
The incident occurred Wednesday morning, Sept. 2, after Conservative Leader Stephen Harper made an election stop at an invitation only event at Premier Mining Products in North Bay.
Roberts stood next to Harper for only moments before security escorted him to the back of the room.
