Sudbury's mightiest heroes have been called into action!
The NEO Kids Foundation has organized the Superheroes for Little Heroes event, featuring members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service Tactical Unit, to bring a little excitement to the children in Health Sciences North's NICU and pediatric unit.
On Halloween day, tactical unit members will don superhero suits and rappel down the face Health Sciences North to surprising kids.
You can watch the event and enjoy a meet and greet barbecue by heading to Health Sciences North at 11 a.m. on Oct. 31.
You can also help support the NEO Kids Foundation by sponsoring a piece of rope that will be used for the special event. One foot of rope can be sponsored for $10. Plus, if you watch the event, you can take your piece of rope home with you as a souvenir.
