Slick roads thanks to Wednesday's ice pellets and snow led to 15 crashes in just a few hours, the Sudbury OPP said.

Highlighting that many motorists slowed down, left extra room between them and the vehicle in front and, basically, drove according to the conditions, others did not.

"Unfortunately some motorists did not drive according to the weather conditions and found themselves in ditches, rock cuts and guiderails," the OPP said.

Despite the number of crashes, no one suffered life-threatening injuries.
