Weekend warming trend to continue into the week

Although winter likely still has a gasp or two left, there is a touch of spring in the weekend forecast and into next week. Saturday morning look for a high of -8 C and scattered flurries, with winds making it feel like - 11 C.

Although winter likely still has a gasp or two left, there is a touch of spring in the weekend forecast and into next week.

Saturday morning look for a high of -8 C and scattered flurries, with winds making it feel like - 11 C. Flurries are expected to continue into the afternoon, as temperatures hit a forecasted high of 1 C.

It'll cool down Saturday evening to about - 4 C, and fall to -9 C overnight.

We should wake up to mostly sunny skies on Sunday with a morning high of -6 C. Thing will warm up into the afternoon for a high of 1 C, before falling to -1 C in the evening.

Overnight though, the temperature is expected to climb up to 0 C.

That warming trend is expected to continue into the week. Expected a mix of sun, cloud, rain and snow early in the week, as temperatures climb to a forecasted high of 7 C by Wednesday.
