Wet start to the week so grab the umbrella

Expect your Monday to be cloudy, says Environment Canada, with 60 per cent chance of showers in the morning and early in the afternoon. Wind becoming southwest 20 km/h in the afternoon, with a high of 17. UV index will be three or moderate.

Rain will continue into the evening and overnight, with 60 per cent chance of showers. Winds southwest 20 km/h becoming light near midnight. Low around 12.

Tuesday will be much the same, again with a 60 per cent chance of showers and a high of 15. It will cool overnight with 30 per cent chance of rain and a low of 10.

The skies will clear Wednesday, with a mix of sun and cloud expected and a 30 per cent chance of showers. High should be around 17, again dipping to 10 overnight.

The long-term forecast for Thursday calls again for a mix of sun and cloud. Highs should be around 19 with an overnight low of 11.

Friday and Saturday are expected to be much the same with a high around 20 and overnight lows 13.
