Power was restored to almost 2,500 Hydro One customers in parts of Sudbury as of 4:25 a.m. this morning, after a five-hour-long overnight outage.

People in the townships of Lorne, Graham, Waters, Nairn and Hyman, Truman, Drury, Trill, Whitefish Lake 6 FN, Denison, Louise, Dieppe, Fairbank and Foster were affected.

The interruption was caused by wildlife, said a notice from Hydro One.
