Just 24 hours after a dominant 7-2 road victory over the Niagara IceDogs, the Sudbury Wolves crossed the border into Erie, Pennsylvania to take on the Erie
Otters on Friday night. The Otters won 4-3 in overtime.

Jakub Vondras was the goaltender for the Wolves while Ben Gaudreau was between the pipes for Erie.

Both teams played hard and traded several high quality scoring chances until Kaleb Smith scored his second goal of the season just shy of the halfway mark of the opening period to give the Otters a 1-0 lead.

With 7:01 remaining in the period, Dalibor Dvorsky continued his hot streak, scoring his 6 th of the season, and his third in two games, to tie the game for the
Wolves, 1-1, which would be the score after one period of play. Just over one minute into the second period Nolan Collins scored his second goal of the season to put Sudbury on top by a score of 2-1.

It was 1:09 later Seattle Kraken prospect David Goyette put the puck in the back of the net for his fifth goal of the season to increase Sudbury’s lead to 3-1.
Sudbury dominated the rest of the period, but couldn’t put the puck behind.

Gaudreau and the score remained 3-1 for the Wolves with one period left to play in regulation time.

Erie didn’t waste any time chipping away at Sudbury’s lead in the third period, when Ondrej Molnar scored his sixth goal of the season to pull Erie within a goal, 3-2 at the 2:38 mark of the period.

With less than5 minutes remaining in regulation Carey Terrance continued tearing up the Ontario Hockey League with his 12 th goal of the season to tie the game up for the Otters, 3-3.

Neither team was able to score in the remaining minutes of the third period, so both teams secured a point and sought out the extra point in overtime.

It wasn’t long before Spencer Sova scored his 6 th goal of the season to complete the comeback for Erie, giving the Erie Otters a 4-3 overtime victory over the Sudbury Wolves.

After the loss, the Sudbury Wolves hold a record of 10 wins, 5 losses, and 1 overtime loss on the season.

The Wolves will enjoy little rest time as they get set to play an afternoon game on Remembrance Day on the road in Brantford against the Brantford Bulldogs with a scheduled start time of 4 p.m.
