As part of YMCA Peace Week, it's looking for donations of the following items (unopened only, please): soap, shampoo, conditioner, razors, shaving cream, toothpaste, hand sanitizer, mouthwash, floss, toothbrushes, body lotion, cotton swabs, body wash, lip balm, petroleum jelly, deodorant, antiperspirant, sunscreen and sanitary napkins.

The items will be distributed to the homeless via Centre de santé communautaire du Grand Sudbury/Corner Clinic.

Donations can be dropped off at YMCA Sudbury at 140 Durham Street and at YMCA Employment and Newcomer Services at 122-10 Elm Street.

“I think this is an excellent opportunity to engage in the spirit of giving as the holidays are right around the corner,” said a Facebook post from YMCA Sudbury. “Help us to help the community. Build Community. Act for Peace!”
