It is with a heavy heart that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, December 26,2023, at the age of 87 years.
Son of the late Vital and the late Dorina (née Beaulne) Bédard. Born in Masson, Quebec from a family of 11 children. He had worked for Vale “Inco” for over 37 years and one half. Predeceased by his loving wife Colette (née Lyons) Bédard. Loving father of Luc Bédard (Susan) and Denis Bédard (Thérèse). Cherished grandfather of Jenny (Adam), Stéphan (Kayla) and Nathalie (Corey). Proud great-grandfather of Jacob, Nico, Alex and Nyomi. He will be sadly missed by Christina. Dear brother of Léo (Noëlla), Lucette Bédard-Simard (late Phillipe), Gerald (Carmen), Yvon (Marjolaine), Rénald, Marjolaine Bédard-Simard and Jocelaine (late Douglas). Predeceased by his brothers Victor (late Yvonne), Romuald (late Nicole) and Roland (Anita). He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
